Andrew Buschkopf grew up in Milwaukee, WI. He attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN for his pre-seminary training, after graduating he decided to take some time off from school. He then moved to China where he taught English to freshman and sophomores in college. While it was an experience he’ll never forget, he decided to come back to the states to finish his last four years of seminary training.
During his college and seminary years Andrew helped serve churches for two summers in Rochester, MN and Farmington, NM; in his third year of seminary training he served Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE as a pastor-in-training.
Andrew enjoys participating in the fine arts in his free time whether it’s playing trumpet or singing in a choir. He also enjoys reading, writing, and travelling, and he looks forward to spending much of his free time in the state parks around Wausau. He is excited to finally serve in full time capacity as the pastor of Mountain of the Lord Lutheran Church.
